Khonshu jerked back when the man reacted with sudden force -- no, no man, not anymore -- and he did not fight to grasp him again. It was more the flash of light than the strength of his arms which kept him at bay. Delight spilled deep in Khonshu's chest, but it was quieted by his relief and admiration of his kin.
