Eddie didn't have to make a move; Eridan stepped forward, arms open, and crushed him into a hug. The warehouse was momentarily neglected; his status as a dangerous import, neglected. He'd never been particularly careful anyway.

"It's Arkady out here."

He paused. His voice was heavy with emotion, and he couldn't bring himself to rein it in.

"I thought they killed you, Ed. You didn't... it's been so long."
