[he lets go of her throat, instead looking to grab her chin. he is in no way sure about his words; they're empty, but meant to sting.]

[ she lets him, of course, when he holds her chin, the look in her eyes scornful and angry. she despises him at this point, every fiber of her being. she wants to strangle him with her tentacles, plunge their thorns into his neck.

Falsehood. Delusions.

[ these two words were spoken very, very carefully as the lights above continue to flicker. her stomach keeps turning and she's quite sure that there will be blood on her hands if he doesn't stop. ]

[she's angry - it's doubtful he's getting any tonight, but pissing Rose Lalonde off is almost as good. he lets go, the morale in the room returns to normal. he drops his hands to the couch beside his head - his pose is almost submissive.
