Norman yelled, his body stiffening and convulsing more violently, sending his head against the ground. "Do you think -- do you think I'll let you leave here with that? Alive?"

He forced himself up through the pain, joints cracking and his mouth dripping foam and blood, and launched himself at Eddie's legs. The remote had stronger settings, of course, but none that could be activated by accident.

Norman was a rabid dog to him, and his muscles reacted to the metaphor with rapid kicks. Eddie gurgled yells, some joyous (and some panicked) as he squirmed for his life. The lurch threw him off balance, he slammed against the concrete once more.

"You deserve it! You earned the loss!" Eddie yelled as he kicked at Norman, rolling onto his side. A manic sneer graced his face. "You deserve this humiliation, Osborn!"

"Hnnrgh!" Norman gasped, and spat blood at Eddie. He coughed and shuddered and clawed. "It's no loss! I'll get them deactivated when I return to my headquarters -- if you think you've won I'd advise you to think again! I will not remain compromised!"

His eye, large and watery, swiveled around, searching for the belt. His hands dove for it.
