They are about to throw down over tea. Rose Lalonde's afternoon: an exciting tea adventure.

"My blends are very nice, thank you very much."

[shipper]

It's a refreshing break of silliness in between all the dark desperation lately. Besides, Nepeta knows she's right anyway.

"Fur scented dishwater maybe."

[nitidus]

"Nepeta, you have crossed a line. I'm afraid ... you have become tasteless."

She gives her a saddened look. She sips her tea. It tastes like correctness.

[shipper]

"I've got the same tastes as efur! I was just hoping that maybe getting old would help fix yours, but I guess you're too fur gone fur that to efur happen."

Nepeta shakes her head sadly. When you can't beat a woman living in the park in a classy tea-off then you know you're in a sad state. Poor Rose.

[nitidus]

She is so done. She is twenty-three and cat friend is insulting her taste in tea. She shakes her head.

"Nepeta, I am wounded."

[shipper]

Nepeta isn't insulting a single thing even as she laughs. Rose needs to have actual taste before she can insult it, after all.

"Sorry, but it's the truth!"

[nitidus]

Nepeta is the rudest cat Rose knows. Rose has known a lot of rude cats; her newest cat, Lord Fluffymane DuLac, once peed on her curtains. Rose wishes she could swat Nepeta with a newspaper too.

"We will have to agree to disagree."

[shipper]

There's quite a lot of people who've wandered through Central Park at night who share the same sentiment, so at least Rose isn't alone on that.

"Fur now, I guess. You'll have to give up eventually anyway."

[nitidus]

"I'm afraid I'm more persistent than I look."

She will never give up. She firmly believes she is always right (even when she's not).

[shipper]

"Oh, that's good! So am I."

Her eyes crinkle into an indication of an amused smile. Nepeta's used to digging her heels in on everything from important topics to stupid things, but really she's simply glad for the conversation. The outcome doesn't matter since she knows she's the right one anyway.
