Yes. Let's. [ Scowling, he knees Eddie in the stomach, dragging him by his tie. ] I'll teach you who's worth fearing. No, I don't want to know what you want to tell me are falsehoods. I wasn't born yesterday.

Norman -- no! [Eddie groaned to the kick, temporarily winded. He fell to his knees as Norman still held his tie.] I'm trying to help --!

[Eddie choked again, hissing out.]

Help what? Do you think for a second I would believe that you're, what is it? Concerned?

I'm not going to let you use me.

[ He kicks him. ]

[enigmaestro]

I am -- I am concer [the kick jolts his jaw, slacking it. Eddie falls, blood spilling out. He tries to crawl, to stagger, to make distance between them.]

[osreborn]

I'm not a fool.

[ Norman growls again and drags Eddie along toward the edge of the roof. ]

Whatever you might think. Why would you be concerned? Don't patronize me.

[enigmaestro]

Because you can't be trusted to take care of yourself! [Eddie glanced down at the traffic below. Too close to the edge.] You're my responsibility, Norman, you've always been my interest, my responsibility.

I can't let them ruin you!

[osreborn]

I'm my own responsibility. I'm my own goddamn man.

[ His teeth grind together and he shakes Eddie, dangling him over the edge but still holding tight to him. He has no intention of letting go. ]

There is nothing wrong with me!

[enigmaestro]

Falsehood. [Eddie whispers it, his face paling with the word. It had been a forbidden word, unspoken for so long.] Norman, you know this without me telling you.

[His feet dangled, toe kissing air.]

Norman, listen to me.

[osreborn]

[ Norman yanks Eddie closer, snarling and pressing their foreheads together. ]
